PORTRAITS ON COMMISSION
Alessandra has been making commissioned portraits for years with a realistic or hyper-realistic style and the search for detail that has always distinguished her work. The portraits can be done in person in the atelier or from one or more photographs. It is important that the quality of the photos is suitable and that the shots proposed for the intended portrait are in high definition.
All portraits are done entirely by hand, starting from white sheet or canvas.
You can follow the work in progress of the portrait and see the result before it is sent. You also have the right to request any changes.
In addition to the creative portraits, which see the artist's personal imprint, you can choose a classic portrait that will adhere closely to your photograph.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN AUTHOCREATIVE PORTRAITS AND CLASSIC PORTRAITS
Creative portraits are a particular and unique typology of portraits. They are Alessandra's specialty and she puts part of her creative process into the realization of the work. This is why creative portraits have a dedicated price list that is different from classic portraits and prices are based on the Artist's coefficient on the art market.
Classic portraits, on the other hand, are closely adhered to copies of the proposed photograph, without alterations (unless requested by the client). This solution is suitable for those who want a reproduction of a photo and different techniques are available.
The portraits can be shipped worldwide by express courier and the packaging is done with care.

Che differenza c'è tra realismo e iper-realismo?
"Ho iniziato lo studio del disegno e della pittura con un approccio iper-realistico e un'attenzione quasi "morbosa" verso ogni singolo dettaglio. Ma poi negli anni di carriera e di confronto con altri grandi artisti mi sono resa conto che non è il dettaglio la cosa importante, ma il messaggio, l'emozione, l'atmosfera.
L'iper-realismo tende infatti ad enfatizzare ed esasperare ogni singolo dettaglio, ma la realtà non potrebbe essere più differente. Quando ci soffermiamo ad osservare un viso dal vivo, infatti, non notiamo ogni singolo poro della pelle oppure ogni piccola ruga, ma restiamo catturati da uno sguardo, una luce, un contrasto, un colore.
La mia ricerca artistica applicata al ritratto si basa proprio su questo: la volontà di cogliere il soggetto nella sua purezza, l'ambiente, e di renderlo reale attraverso l'emozione e il contrasto più che con la linea e con il manierismo."
