Custom realistic portraits

Alessandra is an established Italian artist, based in Camaiore (Tuscany). Thanks to a unique eye for detail and her realistic style, her work is clearly distinguishable and worldwide customers have commissioned her portraits since 2009.

Each portrait is unique just like the subjects that come to life thanks to her skilled hand, transforming a blank canvas into a personal, intimate piece of art. Her portraits stand out for the attention to the subject's expression and feelings, based on careful research which aims to represent an emotion, capture a moment and make it eternal.

All portraits are entirely hand-made. The artist will share pictures and videos of the work in progress and approval pictures before shipping.
Portraits can be made with different techniques, based on the customer’s preference. Dry techniques are available (pencil, charcoal and pastel on paper) as well as oil on canvas.

The portraits are packaged with care and can be shipped worldwide by express courier.

The poetry of light and shadow

Graphite and charcoal embody the timeless essence of classical drawing. Through meticulous rendering of light, shadow, and delicate tonal transitions, this technique removes the distraction of colour to focus entirely on expression, character, and gaze. IT's the perfect choice for those seeking an elegant, intimate artwork with a refined, understated beauty that complements both contemporary and traditional interiors.

Gentle colour transitions and velvety textures bring each portrait to life with extraordinary softness and depth. A Work of Art Takes Time

True craftsmanship cannot be rushed.

Every portrait that leaves my studio is the result of a slow, meticulous, entirely handcrafted process. To ensure the highest artistic standards, exceptional attention to detail, and uncompromising quality, I accept only a limited number of commissions each year.

Creating a fine art portrait takes time. From the initial consultation and composition planning to the many hours of painting and the necessary drying and finishing stages, every step deserves patience and care.

The average completion time is approximately 60–90 days from the confirmation of your commission.

If you're planning a portrait for a special occasion, a meaningful gift, or your home, I recommend getting in touch well in advance to reserve your place in my schedule.

Allison Scarpa, NY

I’m from New York City and spent a lot of time looking for an artist to help me bring my brother’s wedding to life. I got quotes from local artists who charged double the amount and didn’t even come close to the quality of Alessandra’s work. Choosing Alessandra was one of the easiest decisions I ever made. It was a no-brainer! She kept me updated throughout the process, sending me pictures of the painting regularly. I was a little worried that something might go wrong because it all seemed too good to be true. But when the canvas arrived at my doorstep, I knew I made the right choice. I cried when I opened the painting for the first time. I never imagined it would turn out so beautifully. Thank you for bringing this portrait to life, Alessandra! My sister is getting married next year and I’ll be back as a repeat customer! ❤️
