I have discovered a new word: NOMOFOBIA. The fear of being “disconnected”. The anxiety caused by addiction to phones and social networks. We are all nomophobic, and we do not realize, remaining bent on our smartphones, the world outside the screen. Always too online, and little in reality. We ignore people who are physically close to us, and forget to observe what is happening around us. Social media come “new faith”, so fanatic as to be almost religious.
In #Nomophobia_2 a smartphone is squeezed between two hands, the face of the invisible subject, hidden behind a screen, and a rosary that rests on the arm. Sharing “at all costs” is the new religion of the world.
